It’s not something that I’ve had in mind all this while, but my interest was stoked when I saw a friend using his vintage Carl Zeiss lens on his Nikon DSLR. I have one myself, a Carl Zeiss 50mm f/1.7 T* Planar attached to my ’79 Contax 139Quartz. So, how did he use his Zeiss on his DSLR then?

Thanks to this lens adapter by KiwiFotos which can be found somewhat cheaply for a tenner on eBay.

And the verdict? See for yourself. This was taken at 1/125 f/2.8 ISO 400.
