i needed a fast lens after seeing batches of poorly-lit shots of mine, especially at gigs. “use your kaki to zoom”, said apam, who sold me his EF 50mm/1.8 II. to think the 50mm had always been the lens i used in my AE-1 and contax days. i finally got a hoya UV filter and took some hentam saja shots. of sorts, and it’s in the usual place lah.
