This vacation (which is fantastic and ain’t over yet) sees the debut of my current toy, the EOS 550D. The 350D was still fine but I couldn’t ignore the specs this new entry-level Canon have. I am still not enamoured by the 7D or 1Ds Mark whatever (yet), so this’ll do. Also, I get to play with my brother’s 50 mm f/1.4 lens which is seen above (the lens flare seen here is apparently typical of prime lenses).
