JOHNY IS BEST BOY!
Rooting for the inoshishi was pretty much something I was doing just now, looking at how fast the multiple fights that I get to watch onscreen. The fever dream I had interpreting Gotōge’s artwork of the fights into motion is gone – ufotable’s exceptional sakuga has done its work for me this time.
Episode 9 comprises chapters 90, 91 and 6 pages of chapter 92 from volume 11. The episode did start with a non-manga-derived segment, which beautifully complemented the rest of the episode, which prolly explain a 2+ chapter content this time. Admittedly, there was also more dialogue in these chapters, and the 5+ chapters of this arc that are left make perfect sense to fit the last two episodes of this season.
Episode 10 絶対諦めない Zettai akiramenai / Never give up (the title of chapter 93) will be the penultimate episode for Yuukaku-hen, out next Sunday 6.2.2022.
