not all songs taught at his school was as grim, lyrically. one of the more innocent songs for children that they learnt was 靴が鳴る ｢ku tsu ga naru｣ (roughly translated as the sound of shoes):

O te te, tsunaide
No michi o yukeba
Minna kawai kotori ni natte
Uta o utaeba kutsuga naru
Hareta mi sora ni kutsu ga naru

Hana o tsuunde wa
Otsuu ni tateba
Minna kawai usagi ni natte
