GIRLS BAND CRY is an anime original by Toei with a multimedia feel to it as paired with the story is music performed by the cast chosen by audition, and produced by Tamai Kenji of agehasprings. A lot of actual commercial brand names are in this eg Yoshinoya, Gibson, Pearl to name a few.
I dunno why Crunchyroll only has the licence for a release (koff. pandai2 cari. koff!). The 2D/3D/CG mix a tad jarring initially until the story takes over. 8.5/10 for episode 1.
URUSEI YATSURA to end soon
URUSEI YATSURA is currently on its 4th season and hot on its heel is the remade series’ final arc that will be broadcasted 30.05.2024.
I have to admit to temporarily paused my following of this zany remake of an already zany 1980s IP somewhere in S1, but this gives me an excuse to leisurely follow the antics of Lum, Ataru and the jealous Shinobu… err, soon.
