Just landed from Amazon.

I think it was a recommendation by Amazon via e-mail and after seeing the 7.82 score on MAL, I added this to the basket containing my more serious mang… just kidding. A non-inspiring title, I’ve not heard of the author and mangaka, and familiar tropes if you consumed enough harem manga/anime.

But I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed the read because it is funny in the run-of-the-mill way as well as the jokes work so well in English, I wondered if this was a translation or the translator made up his/her own jokes. Nozawa’s artwork is pretty good. And despite the title/cover, there’s no nekkid bods in this (it’s targetted for 15+ though) – so, don’t fret.

The story may be overly typical but like junk food, I’ll gladly buy the next volume. So, what’s your guilty pleasure when it comes to manga?
