I have nothing against pop music, but it used to be such a big deal to get onto the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. You had to be really, really good… (The Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Free) Now… It’s all about volume, eh? And sex sells… so…
Same with The Grammy’s, I think. Avril Lavigne for best songwriter? Honestly? Come on.
