it’s official.
the teaser for revenge of the sith will be available for download at the star wars site on november 4. the thing is, though, you need to access the (rip off) hyperspace section of the site. anyhoo, us mere mortals can go watch it the next day (november 5) when they’ll show the teaser before the screening of pixar‘s long awaited the incredibles. expect a horde of fans going to the multiplex, only to leave after the teaser itself (remember the last time?).
finally, man, after 27 long years.
Revenge of the Sith!!!! Drool…
I think Lucas has a lot to answer for.
First, he makes two disappointing prequels.
Then, he destroys the legacy of the original trilogy vis. the revisionist DVDs.
And now, if the guys on the Force.net and AICN are to be believed, Yoda farts on ROTS.
What the…?!!
I’ll still watch ROTS, though. Purely for closure. =)
i do agree. ep 1 and 2 weren’t exactly what ep 4 and 5 were (6… what the fuck was that?). if it wasn’t for the special effects and the fact as being a fan since 1977, i’d be less forgiving! 🙂
I have such conflicting feelings about Episode III.
I’m excited that finally we’ll be able to tie up the loose ends – or gain closure, as hetfield’s downstroke puts it.
I dread the the possibility that the final episode in this saga would be a disaster.
I’m saddened that after this, there’ll be no more SW movies to look forward to.
Personally, I think A New Hope should have been episode V. The gap between the current Eps. III and IV is such a big one (20 years?). Eps. I & II is 10 years apart but then, that period was not as eventful as the height of the Clone Wars. I think Ep. III should be presented in two parts: Ep. III part I and part II. Imagine squeezing the fall of the Jedi, the rise of the Galactic Empire and the birth the twins… not to mention how Obi Wan served under Bail Organa (remember Princess Leia’s message “…years ago you served my father in the clone wars…”. I’m looking forward to see Obi Wan’s assignment to Alderaan, or would it be a ‘minor’ detail to be missed? May is so far away…
even my dad hates the prequels! 😆
