if this was penang, then i simply cannot imagine the devastation in sumatera, phuket, the maldives, sri lanka and tamil nadu, india.

It’s not even a tremolo pedal lah. It’s a chorus pedal, people. The Rocktron tremolo is called ‘Surf’.
I still can’t believe the relevant authorities in the US gave ‘We didn’t have contacts’ as an excuse for not alerting.
