talking about eBay, i also managed to procure a not-so-rare (golden inner circle tickets were easily found for not-too-ridiculuous prices!) general admission tix to watch the foos at london’s hyde park this saturday. probably won’t beat my more intimate newcastle arena experience of watching them belt out tunes from one by one. it’ll be my first festival experience. yeah, i’ve been harping on how crap it’d be watching bands play on a big telly when you paid a few of your hard-earned moolah. the line-up’s pretty impressive. i’m looking forward to catch josh homme and friends. dave grohl’d better be behind the drumkit for no one knows, damn it. i was hoping to catch the subways, but due to illness, they’ve reined in juliette & the licks instead. as in juliette lewis. the actress. a bit wary with hollywood actors playing in rock bands (read: dogstar, jared leto, err… steven seagal). not forgetting there’ll be motorhead and tom delonge’s new outfit, angels & airwaves.
let’s hope it doesn’t rain. wait… better let it rain than getting drenched in yellow ‘rain’ in plastic beercups (this happened at the ‘tallica’s big day out in milton keynes a few year’s back!). by the way, i am not referring to the colour of an alcoholic beverage of any description. more of a biological byproduct, actually.

i went to the foos in manchester and ‘pparently whudevr sickness the subways had was gone… of all the (smallest print) opening acts, the subways rocked the most man!!! juliette’s licks sounded pretty awful… i pity u for not getting the subways man..
