tak heran. played in my backyard, metaphorically if not literally.
[waiting for an immediate rebuke from a certain lighting implement, using with the word pockeymark]
the official site had no KL date in it although the last listed date is end of january. if anyone remember the ‘pearl-jam-is-coming-to-KL’ ruse in the past, i’d not hold my breath. just cross the causeway and spend some singaporean bucks and enjoy the spectacle, aural and visual. update: … ‘cos, like fake says, they’ll be playing stadium negara on february 25th.
trivia: trabye has played fort canning. the weekend before slipknot came to town. read about it here, here and here.

on a (low) note, we had our last jam in sheffield last night with wong, who will be heading home for good this afternoon. if i had to end my play-in-the-backyard-in-front-of-friends-only gigging career, it’d be the gig in march. since good drummers are as rare as hen’s teeth and rocking horse manure in this neck of the woods, always end things on a high note, i’d say. no apologies for the lack in quality (of everything), but check out the drumming and you’d see what i mean.
is u or is u not coming back anytime soon??
i is coming back april.
wow, very nice guitar la the guitarist use… and sounded as good as the drummer tooo…
dudes & dudettes
MUSE will be in KL Feb 25th.
where is kl?
caya lah!
i wanna get some books on ebay or amazon. some pearl jam & spurs shit. no porn. can i get them to post to you whenever?? cheers
why can’t they send it to your home address?
imnasshole: Hey, it should work asking Amazon to send it over to Malaysia (I’m assuming you’re in Malaysia lah). I’ve not had any bad experiences yet with parcels going missing. Tip: Try to get it shipped to a corporate address. If you want benda tu lagi secure, I’d reckon using a ‘Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia’ or ‘Jabatan Perdana Menteri’ address if you’ve got access to these. Just a guess.
On another note, my lim. ed. Zippo hilang! Pos Malaysia kata, ‘Lepas surat berdaftar tinggalkan negara kita, Pos Malaysia dah tak boleh track dah.’
Wtf, right?
his corporate address is his home address. i think. 😀
Now that vocal-work does perfectly fit the “lumut di hujung…” description!
Sorry but…!!
U might wanna re-phrase that. So now it’s; “Good drummers & VOCALISTS are as rare…”
On another note, I think Neon & Machuk are hiring Wong for their new funky-spunky shite-y band. Which I’m surely not gonna be part of… 😉
as i said, and will reiterate, no apologies.
imnasshole: Heh. Well, in that case belasah je lah. The reason I put my office address is because no one’s at home most of the time. And the internal post people will have their balls cut if they’re caught stealing. Let’s just hope the postman servicing your area doesn’t know what/who Pearl Jam is. You know I’d steal any Pearl Jam stuff if it was me delivering!
lmsn: Dude, bukan aku tak nak ajak kau. Tapi kau sendiri tak suka funk/disco and tak suka pergi clubs. Camne kau nak ‘feel’ the music? I just wanna sell. And club music SELLS, okay? Screw all this ‘soul’, ‘integrity’ and all these other intangible concepts. Show me the money. I don’t care if I’m miserable. I’ll buy love and happiness.
Updates:
If you’re either interested in seeing Muse twice or can’t make it to Singapore on Jan 16, you’ll get another chance to see the band as they perform in the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur on 25 February. The band will be heading over after finishing its run of 2006’s Big Day Out. Muse will also be playing Wembley stadium in 2007. So seeing the band in Singapore or Malaysia will give you a more intimate setting relative to Wembley. Ha ha ha. Anyway, I’ve stalled enough. Here are the details for the Malaysia show. Event is made possible by the generous folks at Tiger beer. *hic. Tiger were the ones who made We Are Scientists possible in KL and now, thanks to the cold hard truth about Malaysian currency being weaker to Singapore $, Tiger is making it cheaper to catch Muse too!

On another note, IL DIVO is coming to Malaysia also…
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…………………………………….
thks for the heads up neon. actually being on the dole, it would be hell of a lot cheaper (as of this morning.. 1GBP = 7.04RM, its official..we have a bloody shitty currency) to ship to a UK address & coax my mule to stick the books up his arse & smuggle in :>)
pls love, pretty please…
bastard.
[…] a malaysian-organised gig where i was not playing. did feel quite weird, but with ALHP being in a state of flux (yeah, wong, it’s all your fault. haha.), i’d rather not get onstage just […]
