not.
last minute additions of sorts before raya as my dad will be leaving for KL after this (it’s so much easier when someone is at home to let the workman in!). like the bedroom/guest room #1 in the previous entry, the living room is now bereft of the dunelm mill cheapo bedsheet which doubled as curtains.
made of oak by a chap in sheffield. the bay windows are so uneven that each window has different dimensions which justified my decision of going bespoke. i only buy these things once, kan? alang-alang menyeluk pekasam, bak kata pepatah.

like my ames bros. pearl jam silk screens, i have finally got around to sort out the frames for these prints. i once joked that when i have money, i’d travel around, buying choice pieces (artwork, that is – perabot too cumbersome). had to go bespoke again, as some these prints just have odd dimensions which aren’t available at IKEA/habitat/courts mammoth. like that URTV fella with the koleksi pedang jepun comprising one short katana, i’ve only two. paris this winter may have some surprises in store for me, hopefully.
This looks really really cool.
thanks.
looking good! You’re so right on MTM frames. Sometimes you want certain treatment which you don’t get with RM frames. I still get lots of frames from IKEA and Hema though – mostly for photoes. And like you, have so many things I haven’t hung!
Will mail you some coordinates in Paree to dig treasures in 😉
hey, that’ll be cool. thanks, lisa.
again – dark floorboards did all the job
