(Trivia: I have visited Tachikawa before – located in the west side of Greater Tokyo. Anyway!)

I hate it when you just wanna have a quiet moment, drink in hand, on a balcony at night just before turning in – and you start to see kaiju like glowing embers dropping down from the sky.

So, you like the red kaiju (CV. Miyake Kenta – All Might!) who is Kai… never mind. Tunggu next Sunday for E10.

Talking about music scores, KAIJU No.8 has its score composed and conducted by Bandō Yūta. Check out how the relatively small ensemble that he conducts to produce the giant, cinematic score typical of kaiju eiga.

Bandō’s previous scores include that he did for Hosoda Mamoru’s BELLE, and he co-produced Yonezu Kenshi’s SPINNING GLOBE, the end credit song for Miyazaki’s THE BOY AND THE HERON.
