been complaining in a couple of KL-related entries in the past about not having ikan bakar at our usual spot on jalan bellamy. funnily enough, i can’t remember the name of the gerai but it’s no.2 from melaka (so, it ain’t the seri menanti on no.1 nor is it the ramli guy on 3). can’t be arsed to drive (or be driven) to umbai for grilled fish. actually, it’s the ikan pari. not really interested in the other types either. hey, did i say i was some kind of piscine aficionado? the sambal cicah was out of this world, and all i need is the nasi putih sans other forms of kuah/gulai. only wished the fish was on the grill a little longer to make the kulit crispier.
just to add, gerai no.2 served the best iced air kelapa i’ve had in yonks, one rank below the mamak one at the taiping casual market. just enough to quench my thirst after a hearty lunch.
