the living room wall had been repainted and new floorboards restained prior to hari raya.
whilst the main structural repairs were completed (kinda) two months ago, it wasn’t till last week that the restorative work in the basement was completed. the cellar and buangruang room’s walls that had been ripped open to treat the shiitake infestation had been replaced and replastered. the cabinets housing the gas and electricity meters were re-instituted.
all that is left now is the repainting.
