Listening to these guys from Westfield, MA, reminded me of how I was enamoured by the first opening riffs to Metallica’s Masters Of Puppets, and this was way back in a dorm at school in the mid-80s. Lamb Of God is pretty technical, and apart from the kambing – the Les Paul was dusted and detuned a full step (with a drop C) last night, and I learnt my first Killswitch Engage tune.
