Band practice has been intensive. With my being in Londres (this entry is made at the wee hours of 5 am in my Paddington hotel room), we have two rather-not-have off days. It’s back to full swing Wednesday and a final all out rehearsal at The Attic on Thursday. We conceded to the fact that one of the songs we opted to cover was a tad taxing. So, out it went and in comes a well-loved 80’s classic (clue: do you play Guitar Hero on the PS2?). We weren’t our kiasu-practiced-since-last-december selves any more. So, let’s see what 7 days (gulp!) can make us sound like.

Had two morsels at my favourite London cafe last night. I’m sure I hadn’t had any when I was in London for Raya. Jimbo couldn’t make it (it’s okay, dude, the kuey teow was dedicated to you! haha.), so I was on my own with a wobbly table by the window. Typically, it got busier when I left at 9. Pity they don’t do kuehs at night as it would’ve been great to munch through them whilst watching muat turuns on my portable Pentium 3 back at the hotel room.

You’d probably wonder why the recent dearth of entries on 無秩序の胃. It is true that on some days there aren’t any things to be written. Out of stories, as an erstwhile blogger friend of mine would admit to say, perhaps? Life’s been a little busier these past few months, but ain’t throwing in the towel just yet. Susah nak maintain ke-prolific-an macam the sheepwoman tu.

Another reason for the paucity is that I have recently succumbed to this thing I promised not to venture into ever again, especially post-april 2004. For the record, I did it for the gig‘s sake. And to make me feel better, this one is less poyo then the one before and it’s more about networking, both social and professional. *koff koff*

And before anyone says anything, she‘s in it as well.

Talking about hotel rooms, today I learnt that the spanish for the ‘do not disturb’ sign is no molesten. Oo-err.
