people complain of missing food from home when one is abroad. i say just cook the damn thing. i felt like having ayam percik tonight. since it’s not a sunday and i’m not really in taman tun, i googled and tried the first site on the list.
what can i say? jadik siut. especially when two of my kelantanese mates gave the thumbs up.
cannot take all the credit, though. it’s thanks to this lady whose site came up tops on google. thanks a million!
next braai project: satay or ikan pari bakar.
darn it!
i only attempted making ayam percik once, because the lack of lengkuas makes all the difference. and for some obscure reason the chinese shop at my place hasn’t even heard of galangal a.k.a. lengkuas.
fuiyoh, my favorite!! damn….
looks darn good!
delrina: the recipe i used from that site didn’t include lengkuas as an ingredient. i’ve seen other recipes, some simpler, some more complicated, that had lengkuas. i’ll add it next time for good measure!
i pun tak guna lengkuas. looks yummy tu… kira pass la.
nway… i’m heading back to my tanah serendah sekebun bunga for the real food… hehe.
