i just found out from the large LCD screen above the cashier that my favourite nasi kandaq joint have now gone down under. i was just wondering what the hell a pic of a koala was doing between those of pappadom and lauk ayam goreng.

Nahar will be no more… well, the cafe will, but certainly not ‘Nahar’. Whilst you’re there, why not korek2 story about this highly charged cable pulling among many big shots in trying to get the new lease of that corner building, yes whole building, not just the cafe (in fact, the cafe is like, free) …an absolute gold pot (20K squid p.a. lease… with proly 5K monthly intake! which has made syed nahar a very rich man for the past 10 yrs). It has indeed entered an unprecedented tender process… for the 3rd time, after previous 2 were met with explosive complaints and protests from those who didn’t get it. Great story ni…
