whilst i was in the cab en route to paddington, i watched the little onboard telly where there were a few clips on the current security measures one can expect at british airports. whilst i am not dismissing the security threats faced by britain, the fact that passengers are only allowed one piece of hand luggage (including hand bags and laptops) prior to the security check at the departure lounge, but are allowed as many duty free shopping bags one can carry to enter a plane, just made me think if some people can make a few extra squids out of this. the security check itself was quite pleasant as the staff were friendly, lightheartedly joking about, making both security colleagues and queuing passengers to forget how tiresome this rigmarole is.

i am quite a good long-haul flyer. i have my meal, fall asleep, only to wake up just before the second meal time, a few hours before touching down at sepang. the bay of bengal was surprisingly quiet on this trip. however, we had a brief la bamba moment a few minutes before touch down. i just hate air pockets.

[oh by the way, one of them in the aquamarine kebaya looks like an accountant friend of a friend.]

i tried out my recent purchase whilst my brother drove us to my first, and favourite, makan spot (see above pic). i am well impressed with the carl zeiss lens this gadget has. here’s to great pics in future gig reviews!
