i finally got a new radiator installed in the living room to free up some space for a sofa bed. yes, one of these lah.
to those of you in the UK and want to find someone reliable and most importantly honest to do a job, i recommend using this website. after describing what/how/when i wanted done, i received my first text message from a workman in like 30 minutes. the site includes star ratings given by previous customers so that you won’t get shafted by some unscrupulous tradesman, something you don’t find in the yellow pages!

When we did our outbuilding in the farm in France, we actually imported in some dutch craftsmen – more fulus tapi janji siap on time! If you do a small job in france say installing your kitchen – something as simple as ikea kitchen – it can take up to 6 months – this from them promising to get it done in 6 weeks 😛
Needless to say our farmhouse (the main building) masih tak siap-siap because we’re doing everything ourselves. I wish they ahve that website here and in France!
